Ms. Slater serves as one of the Marketing Coordinators at Slater | Grant, where she supports the firm’s outreach, branding, and event planning initiatives. She focuses on growing relationships within the community and helping to execute firm-sponsored events that connect clients, referral partners, and local organizations.
A graduate of Stetson University with a degree in Elementary Education, Ms. Slater spent many years in the classroom, teaching students across a range of grade levels in both public and private schools. Most recently, she taught Kindergarten at Carrollwood Day School. She also serves as the president of the West Point Parents Club Gulf Coast Florida Chapter, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting cadets and their families.
Married to founding partner Scott Slater, she is the proud mother of four children. Outside of work, Ms. Slater enjoys cheering on her two daughters at volleyball games, boating with her family, staying active at the gym, and rooting for her favorite teams — the Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers, and Army Black Knights.
