Three Vehicles Involved in Accident on U.S. 441 Leaving One in Critical Condition

Florida Highway Patrol flocked to the U.S. 441/U.S. 301 split, north of Ocala, on the morning of October 5, 2019 after a pickup truck and passenger car side-swiped each other. The passenger car was thrown into the southbound lanes and ran over by a semi. The driver of the passenger car was 37-year-old, Kristopher Powell, and needed to be extricated by firefighters. Mr. Powell was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center and remains in critical condition.
